Transatlantic Board Game

After the Suez Canal opened in 1869, there was a boom in the shipping industry. By the turn of the century, enormous vessels like the Cunard and White Star ruled the seas, delivering passengers, freight, and mail by the ton across the globe. Transatlantic takes place in this groundbreaking era. In it, two to four players front their own shipping companies in a quest to dominate the waters. To do so, you’ll need to purchase new ships, manage their strengths (knots, tonnage, etc.), create trading posts, and acquire resources. A card-based game, Transatlantic challenges players to weigh the pros and cons of every decision they make, without much luck involved.
