As of right now on Tower Hobbies the VXL Bandit is 319.95 and the brushed is 179.95

Are the wheels and tires on this replaceable?

duraz0rzYes, the wheels and tires are replaceable. Think they use the pin style, but you can get 12mm hex adapters for other options.

I'm looking for truck kits. My primary reason to purchase is to give it to my son so he can learn mechanical skills the way I did, by having fun! I will still run electric. Not nitro. I can't teach him renewable burning fuel in his toy.

Elite__rc @Elite__rcGood eye there Elite. The photo is the standard series bandit. We are however selling both the standard and VXL model here. If you check the Notes section about checkout options you will see you have the option to select the standard series bandit model. However the primary drop item is for the VXL version of the bandit which does have a brushless motor.

I just wish the prices were better, I have a bandit. Great car except I would wait for the Rustler. A better off road platform with greater upgrade potential.
