I think, its not a sale. At least it's not drop from 790$. Probably, drops from 400$. Because of the type of this model. It has Two Titan 550 brushed motors. Not a Brushless 2200kV motor which one is arround 690$. everyone can check prices via google, easly.
HeatherVhey there @HeatherV thanks for helping me out here but it turns out that i just cant receive emails at all so i will change me email here to another one
My brother and I bought E-MAXXs about 14 years ago, and I had no idea they still sold them. Many, many great hours spent thrashing them around. At the time the availablity of aftermarket parts was massive, and I can only assume it's only increased since then.
If you're thinking about getting this to get into the hobby, you probably won't regret it.
lobsterThe vehicle is quite large so the more power the better! The two brushed motors offer a better price point to those who cannot jump right into a brushless monster truck.
lobsterBrushless motors are the latest thing in electronic motors so they tend to be more expensive. To keep the price down on a big entry level monster truck, Traxxas kept the double brushed setup that's powered the E-MAXX for years. Brushed or brushless, you won't be disappointed and can upgrade the drivetrain later through either the Traxxas upgrade program or a competitor's motor/ESC system.
tlp5002It depends on if you're looking for a brushless system or not. This is definitely worth the drop price and is a very fun truck to bash with. It won't be quite as fast with the brushed setup but you can always swap electronics later.
