y'know, when I voted for this I thought in my mind that the price of the "drop" would be less than amazon, but I can see I was mistaken. its $90+ more expensive here for some reason. No battery is worth 90 imo.

VoicedAre you sure you are looking at the right models? I checked Amazon before joining the drop and the price of the truck was $489, plus like $120 for the combo of the hitec charger and the venom 5000mah battery. In my opinion, that's a good deal.

TaddeoI did the same as Taddeo, I did my research and looked up this specific model as well as the LiPo battery and charger on many sites, including Amazon. I also called my local HobbyTown USA to get their pricing, which was about $150 more than this, and then sales tax on top of that. This is a great deal, in my opinion.
