In regards to swimming I received this answer from the company: "I am sorry but, as a stated in the manual of the product, XR500 are suitable (water resistance rating is ipx7) for splashing, rain or snow, showering, accidental exposure to water of up to 3 feet for up to 30 minutes. And unsuitable for swimming, diving into water, snorkeling or scuba diving, high-speed watersports." So unfortunately, this wont be your swimming music solution friends :(

TheNonWutrue. But they called the samsung galaxy 5 waterproof, and my friend's got waterlogged after being in the water for 10 minutes. You can never believe something is waterproof.

IwadeThey never claimed it was waterproof. Samsung claimed it was water-resistant, which is not the same thing as waterproofing.
