Is this really a Franklin Christoph, or are they just using the nib? Honestly, it looks like a kit pen.

MTSSThis is a kit pen, but It looks very well made, People underestimate the time and experience to make a quality one. I have my own only because I run a company making similar pens.

Trinita I do source parts of the clip and section piece from a company that makes those pieces in a kit pen However, the nib and feed are sourced from Franklin Christoph (they are German made JoWo nibs). The pen writes very well and Tree Ring Co. has a lifetime guarantee that is extended to Massdrop https://treeringpens.com/pages/gurantee-and-return-policy. Of course, the most unique element of the pen is incorporating tree ring analysis into the barrel of the pen. Tree Ring Co. holds a patent for that technique so Tree Ring is the only one making such a pen. Finally, the cap made from the bark of the Douglas-fir tree is stunning and also unique.
