I'm new to Massdrop but this pen appears to have been offered in the past. Anyone who purchased previously like to comment on the Pen they received and any pros and cons with it or if they would purchase again?
Also is the the 30day return/guarantee still in place if purchased here?

Thanks for the question. These pens have the same nibs as the previous Tree Ring pens sold through Massdrop so any comments about the nibs would be relevant. However, this pen has a magnetic cap as opposed to the screw cap on the previous model. The magnetic cap version has been very well received by customers. As for the warranty "All Tree Ring pens are guaranteed against mechanical failure, regardless of age (i.e., lifetime warranty). Returned writing instruments will be repaired or replaced at no charge. If the exact model is not available for replacement, one of similar style and value will be provided."

Tree_RingHello Dave, least I assume this is Dave. Thank you so much for your reply. I've scoured your Tree Ring website and watched a couple videos and I must say I'm very intrigued. So much so, that I have joined this drop and it's my first Massdrop. I can't wait to get my pen and see what it looks like not to mention be able to record my thoughts, dreams, fears, poems, letters, and everything else with my Douglas Fir crafted piece of history repurposed and given new life.
