This is awesome news. Now I have one and my husband has one - we've wanted these since we saw your little popup stand on Pearl Street about..what is it..10 years ago? So, good things come to those who wait.

I get the comments about straps. I'm a big guy and used this kit for two days on evergreens. It didn't leave a mark on the trees.

What's up with these hammocks being sold with rope kits? As a long-time hammock camper, "rope" is sort of an evil word in the hammock world, at least with regard to LNT. For what its worth, LNT has been recommending 2" straps as the preferred suspension for hammocks (essentially seat belt webbing) and several states have taken up this recommendation and require them at their state parks. Just FYI - I would prefer all hammocks sold here (or anywhere actually) come with at least 1" straps to go around the trees.
