HORRIBLE quality not even my gmk cryllic has led shine through. I thought the mods were going to be more teal. I have a vortex set that looks nearly identical to this and apparently the same quality.

appleonamaOh brother, here we go. If you mean "less" shine through, why were you expecting ANY? These aren't backlit and were NEVER meant to be used on a backlit keyboard... And you couldn't be more wrong about the quality. There is nothing above GMK in quality. You're simply rating these on how much light they let shine through (when they aren't supposed to) and aren't considering any of the factors that ACTUALLY make keycaps high quality. You apparently think Vortex has the same quality equipment as Cherry - good job on revealing the depth of your ignorance for all to read.

JalucianI'm sorry but I've got 3 other GMK sets here that beg to differ. My Dolch, Purple mods and Classic Beige sets have been used on backlit boards before with zero light bleed through the caps. These sets are clearly well below the usual GMK standards, saying otherwise just shows you have no idea what you're talking about.

LaidlowI think the point here is that being translucent does not mean it is inferior to an entirely opaque key cap in terms of quality. Other factors like plastic composition, density, thickness are the factors that should be used to measure the quality of a key cap.
That aside, I have to admit the quality is really below what I expected. From the 2 sets I received, I tried to split the keys into a good and bad set, and I could barely complete the good set. For some keys, it's really about choosing the key which is less flawed to be placed in the good set.
