According to Massdrop information mine were shipped on Aug. First. Still there is no tracking information. I asked about this and got a BS story from "Tony" that they have not shipped. Funny HUH!!

Bob3600Yes, I've been checking every few days. China post will let you know when they have something, and then they'll let you know when they've "processed" it, and then you won't see any updates until it hits U.S. customs. I don't know why Massdrop bothered sending an email titled "Your package has shipped!" with "It's on it's way!" on the first line in bold type. Perhaps they just couldn't resist the irony of a bold-face lie...
There are issues with China post, but updating information isn't one of them.

s.pwyllHave you considered it might have been a mistake? It's not like there's some dude manually typing up on the emails, or every "it's shipped" email is given approval by management... It's automated, so something could have accidentally triggered it.
With that being said, it would be nice if they'd give the people who are part of the drop an update.

BradumOf course it's possible it was a mistake. Someone, somewhere could have somehow mistakenly given everyone in the drop individually-generated, false tracking numbers. I don't know why they would have mistakenly created the mechanism to generate false tracking numbers rather than simply expecting to use legitimate tracking numbers provided by the postal agency--but more bizarre mistakes have happened before...
