Just joined the drop for a crazy compute-heavy rig. 6x hybrid GPU's - perfect for this. I tried cramming everything in a P3 and ... failed.

lucidinertiaThat is some array of GPU AIO radiators--you must have paid a premium for them but are you switching to custom loops for the P7 build?

eunuI may consider it eventually, but for now I will simply mount the radiators on the sides. I wanted a simple WC solution that's easy to disassemble for when Volta is readily available. The EVGA AIO cards have great temps when under heavy compute loads.

PhiillyyBitcoin = cryptocurrency but cryptocurrency = more than just bitcoin. You are right. But I am right, too. You don't mine Bitcoin with GPUs. You mine everything else with GPUs. You used to be able to mine Bitcoin with even a CPU but not anymore.

cazzNo, you can still mine bitcoin with gpus, people don't, however, as it's not efficient enough for a profit.

PhiillyySo you agree with what I originally said? People don't mine bitcoins with GPUs :P

PhiillyyBut no you actually can't mine a bitcoin with even a farm of GPUs unless you are a part of a pool, but then you're not mining with GPUs, you're mining with your GPU and a ton of other ASIC processors.
A GPU is physically not fast enough to mine a bitcoin today.

cazzthey don't ANYMORE because it's not profitable. if you wanted to go out right now and mine bitcoin you can with a gpu. people don't because it's inefficient.

lucidinertiaWell truthfully first I would upgrade your monitor, so that all those gpu’s will be able to load up on a quality screen. Another thing is those a making a LOT of heat so I would also put water cooling loops on all of them.
