dphjrIts def firm. There is enough depth of padding that its not really problem and offers a lot of support. Have also done 16+ hour days in this bad boy without getting uncomfortable (to as much as can be expected, people still gotta move sometimes)
dphjrI have had mine for a a month or so and I can say it is quite firm. It may vary person to person but it may make your butt hurt if you sit in the place for a while. If I remember shift every so often it's fine.
I also have a Dxracer and the softer foam doesn't cause any problems during extended use.
Over all it is a good chair
What kind of warranty does the chair have?
@MattDrop I noticed the seat height sits higher with a wide adjust range than some others, perhaps this is why it states 6'5".
MattDropLooking more into this, it seems that the xc comfort says its suitablt for poeple up to 6'5", but has practically the same measurements as other models which say they're onlt suitable for people up to 6'1". Any clarification on if the recomended height is correct?
MattDropI'm 6'6" and this chair is very well suited for tall people. My roommate who is 6' tall had his feet dangling from the chair per how I had it adjusted.
Anybody know if there is a difference between black and the cheaper colors that is not aesthetic ?
Besides the obvious design pattern on the back, the change in logo, and the color striping itself?
gatticusGatticus,
Nope, there is actually no difference. The Manufacturer chargers more for the black and that being said Massdrop's purchasing cost is also higher.
