Buyer beware: the case does not come with a riser cable, so if you will want to use a vertically mounted GPU you would have to buy one for yourself. Also, forget about using the vertical mount with GPUs that are 2.5+ slot (which is pretty much any gpu now...). Regardless of the slot size of your GPU your temperatures with it vertically mounted in this case would be 10+ C higher then if you have it mounted directly on mo-bo (unless of course you have a waterblock on your GPU) - this for me was a pretty big disadvantage. I wish that they would make the mount closer to mo-bo and further away from the tempered glass to allow for better airflow.
makats
Yes sir and buy the one over 80$ otherwise you have to be very careful with installation of the riser. Once you remove it from packaging the shielding on the riser connector will expose the glue easily. But I love my build. The only issue is the thermal-take RGB controller/SW SUCKS. If you get the package they give you the old controller. Request the newer one youwill find on there site

It's so sad that it's only for the USA :(
More times than not you can find the same items on Amazon for less $$.
Crap case. Buy Phanteks 400s intead which is much cheaper.
I would get this, but I'm happy enough with my case

Just bought the Thermaltake Core P3 SE case for my build
Does this case come with the rgb fans too?

I bought mine through Amazon, and it came with 2 intake and 1 exhausts Riing RGB fans, as well as 1 fan hub (so that you can hook and sync all the fans to the same speed/color)
x12chris18x
yes, 3 original 140 riing rgb fans (not Premium, not Plus, and not Premium Plus, just regular Riing RGB)
179.99 MSRP? This thing is 129.99 bucks on newegg. Come on, massdrop.
Load 2 more comments
You're definitely right but I think that's part of the problem... I've given Massdrop a lot of shit (check my posts) but in reality there is huge competition for prices in tech right now. Newegg prices keep on dropping because they are also buying in bulk like Massdrop. So the price for YOU or ME to buy from manufacturer is the quoted MSRP but since Newegg gets bulk orders they can get these super low prices and pass the savings onto Their customers. I just enjoy talking shit Online cause I'm a huge fag/troll. TLDR Newegg is the Walmart of tech... Massdrop is like the Sears of tech.
Alexrawesome
That was basically incomprehensible.
Hey there. I was wondering how much aprox shipping would be to Norway. I don't want to commit if it's going to be an ungodly amount.
chriandra
Click "Join Drop" and it will tell you on the right. You still have a few more things to click before it actually commits you so don't worry about that.
Quick question, how much would shipping be and approximately how long would it take to recieve it? Havent ordered from massdrop before.
itsSmokEm
At the bottom of the drop description page there is an expected ship date. This is the date that it will ship out (if not before) to you. This drop is actually being drop shipped from the vendor so it will take less time than other drops. Cheers.
Does anybody know if it can house the Kraken x52 240 millimeter radiator
Wicd
i have the kraken x61 in this case, this case is massive dude it'll fit any size rad
My motherboard MSI X99A XPower Gaming Titanium. E-ATX I do not see in the description of E-ATX. Body suitable?
77024309609
Should be. It might cover some of the cable management holes (mayby partially) but it should fit. This case is huge.
Says fully modular but can you invert the motherboard for right side entry?

thank you for the reply
brolly
No. Case manufacturers need to stop using "Fully Modular" on semi modular cases. Everything frame wise is riveted together
FWIW, this case (and the similar Corsair 460X and 570X) looks freaking amazing. Price is nice (compared to the nearly identical 570X, which runs $180). Only concern is that the spec sheet doesn't make any mention of whether or not the case comes with a fan LED controller. Also, the TT Riing fan controllers are 3-port only, so if you plan on adding more fans, you'll need an additional controller.
Edit: It would appear the case does, in fact, come with a fan LED controller.
Tagov
I own that case, but purchased it from amazon - it did come with a 3-way fan LED controller.
ThiS cost only 99 on Newegg

Don't hurt yourself, bud.
Hellreaver
just shut up
I'd buy this if it supported more than 3 Drives...
Tman450
You'd be adding more money into the equation, but they sell a PSU shield that has two more slots for ssd's, so you could put 5 drives in the thing in total.
Tman450
what about the two drives in the cabling area?
Tell me please do you send to Kazakhstan?

what are you talking about... The only thing the general society has heard about Kazakhstan is in Borat... Most people just think Kazakhstan is a joke. That's why...

I'd stay away from thermaltake, I ordered one of these and the front panel (which is plastic) was absolutely covered in scratches. Returned it for a replacement and the replacement unit was covered in even MORE scratches.
Load 1 more comment
I have both the case and the riser. Both work flawlessly. I don't know where you got your case from, but it should've came with clear films attached to all three panels, so there is no way it would be scratched if it was brand new. Also, the front panel is not plastic, its acrylic.
makats
Acrylic is a type of plastic
I wonder, can you SLI two fairly standard dual slot Asus cards, with one card vertically mounted?
Load 1 more comment
That's what I was thinking, running two 780ti's at the moment though so no worries there, was more a question of clearance really. But, yeah, SLI is slowly drifting away, along with the aesthetics of a system (can't beat the look of 2 cards, one just seems empty to me)
jmsPLAY
.. I mean if you can find the Sli Bridge .. or if you can make one. hahaha
Are there any provisions for removing the HDD cages? Are there Mobo tray ssd mounts on the back? Any provisions for mounting coolant resevoir/pump?
s2kallday
Yup! There are 3 slots on the back for your hdd/ssd mounts. Watch the video, it will show you all of the specs on the case.
What is inside that case on the picture?

That is a custom water cooling loop - reservoir, hard tubing, cpu block, gpu block, radiators, etc.
Lmao!
I have the non RGB version of this case and it's a great case especially if you want to show off your watercooled graphics card ( you have to buy a riser cable) and it's laid out great for two 360 radiator or 2 280mm rads if you get the RGB version you can u the fans on 1 of the 280's
We need some Core P3 love please.

How many unicorns were butchered to make this case!?
Medion
The cooling system runs on unicorn tears.
OneLove
Does it cool as well as liquid nitrogen? Because it sounds like it would.
fingerprints. Oh god the fingerprints.
Also, if you get this, you should probably make sure you are REALLY good at cable management...the back is clear too. That, and the fact that my case is already shipping from Amazon, are the only reasons I wouldn't get this case. I suck at cable management xD
What is the thickest front 360 rad supported with using a 10.5'' card?
nataku411
how thick you wanna go? here's a video with 2 thick TT rads installed in this case

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GrZih5KTdXU
Note that the videocard is Zotac ArcticStorm which is 12" long. Enough space for double-width TT rads and 3 fans in front of it lol.
Anzial
I'd like to put a 60mm thick 360 in front, and whatever I can fit in the top, but I'm gonna be using pretty high-profile ram, so I don't know how thick I can go both ways.
Does it support some kind of PSU Shroud/Cover like NZXT S340 have built it out of the box?
synchro
I don't think so. I looked at Thermaltake's page for the case and there's no mention of any PSU shrouds. There are some mounting points for other accessories though, so with ingenuity I think a shroud could be fashioned by someone.
http://www.thermaltake.com/products-model.aspx?id=C_00003012
wiemerimer
No it doesn't support a PSU shroud but the TT core X31 rgb TG does have a shroud but doesn't support the vertical graphic card layout.
