Would really appreciate a head-to-head comparison between these and T1-E, for anyone who may have purchased these and also happens to own the T1-E.

Ain't head-to-head, but the guy definitely owns a pair of T1-Es and gives his comparison.

MxBluEThank you. That's the only link I too am aware of. Would love further input from those here that may be able to provide it.

PolygonI have both, and I think these sound better than the T1-E's. That said, the T1S's cable is a nightmare to deal with. It gets tangled very easily and it doesn't feel very sturdy. If these had the T1-E's cable I would have no complaints. Hope this helps!

MxBluEDear 'TTPOD' .... and Massdrop: The above Review, shows the T1S came with both silicone and FOAM tips. Massdrop, your Description page says, " 3 pairs of silicone tips (S - M - L )". This is exactly what you get with the T1-Es, as well. I purchased 3 pairs of T1-Es, during the October drop ( delivered, mid - November) ... the 2 spare pairs, as Christmas Gifts (Shipping , in the U.S. was Free ! ) Surely, you've noted the "lack of comfort" complaints. Hell, for me .... so much so, that previously and until this weekend after buying some Comply T-400 memory foam tips( an added expense of $15); they Hurt so much, they were Not wearable for any prolonged period of time ! Is there Anyone, "listening " ????
P.S. Add to this; I'm Not sure that the "T-400"s are the answer; as the Fit to the 'TTPOD' T1-E IEMs is, beyond Snug. TTPOD , Please add Your Foam Tips.
P.S. P.S. Yes, the cable quality; on the T1 - E , is nicer too. It's a shame. As the T1S, deserves better.

RoaroftheTigerI'd say you should've seen it coming. I ended up buying VSonic GR02s instead of these and needless to say that they are VERY, very fun after the burn in. Vsonics, currently leading in the <100$ segment, don't really have the nicest tips. They need getting adapted to, but it was hard from me as my first IEM was Logitech UE200. Logitech always provide eartips with good comfort, and I got them from my country[bangladesh] for a bargain. I combined those tips, and boy things were so nice.
although, tips will change the way your iem sounds. IMO, comfort comes in the expense of bass. But I prefer comfort more than anything, so there's that.
As for the TTPods, Well, i've given my opinion before and I'm giving it again.
TTPods aren't really the iem manufacturers with the best build quality. And the defining quality of the T1 was the BASS. Ask anyone, and they'll reply the same. With T1-S, they started transitioning into this weird balanced sound department, resulting in the T2.
So, yes. If you still have the money and a ****ton of bass, go for the T1-E. Even if it sounds expensive.
