Hidden defect. Product awesomely packed with bubble pack and wrapped in custom box. But who is going to check this Made in China hidden defect where a spot was chipped at the underneath of the orb! If only Massdrop or the vendor (who is the culprit representing the manufacturer) who simply bulldozed their way misrepresenting their product as "intact" or knowingly still submit in selling a "defective" product. Asking all of you not to buy Made in China products unless it came with quality check or inspection certification.

You should at least find out from the vendor whether the decanter received by me was an intact one with a "natural feature" indeed it was having a hidden defect". As I have said I found no evidence of any physical shards of glass or damage to packaging at all that's why I never thought something could be wrong. I have examined the product but found it was different to another decanter ordered by me. On comparison between the two decanters only I found this feature. Now if you can do the extra mile and at least talk to the vendor based on the photos whehrer exactly anything was wrong with their products which you are getting at a discount but what is the point if they keep on supplying products with "hidden" defects. I mean if a product is damaged, one can see the shards or breakage or even damage in physical packaging but what if someone having an ulterior motive would just keep on pushing defective products to Massdrop to sell and before this happens it takes the extra mile to cleanup the products and use perfect packaging to cover their evil intention. I am not saying the decanter is an expensive investment for me but at least I am being assisted and told the truth when I asked after finding that two decanters ordered by me were made differently or carried a hidden defect which I am not aware. Appreciate if you could do the necessary. Thank you.

I received this decanter, does anyone consider it normal. A chink of crystal is sliced off the inner neck wall which the crystal orb is supposed to sit on tightly! Please advise and comment
