A lightweight alternative to front-heavy headlamps, the UCO Air headlamp is easy to use and easy to wear. Its Precision Fit strap is made of stitched neoprene that won’t slip, constrict, or stretch out over time Read More
I am an automotive technican, so I had a need for a compact light weight hands free light source. The UCO AIR HEADLAMP, meets those needs. I can use this light on the lowest setting, and still have enough light to see everything I am doing. This allows me to use this headlamp for the entire day. At the end of the day I put it on the charger and know it will be ready to go the next day. I have used this headlamp for years now, without any issues.
This headlamp is very light and provides ample light on the lowest setting to get around a campsite at night or setup camp (a hammock and rainfly in my case) in the dark. I have used it on two weekend outtings, so I do not know how long it will stay charged. Additionally, it is super simple and easy to use and adjust the lighting with just a turn of the dial.
I didn't give it 5 because I do mot like the headband. It is thick and stiff. I will end up replacing the headband with something else.
Just OK. Reasonably comfortable, rechargeable, like the control layout, but battery life is poor. I wouldn't use this camping because of that. Looks like the Nitecore NU25 is a much more practical choice, wish that one had come up before this one.
Its a lightweight rechargeable headlamp , good enough for working indoors. It does not have a cover for the charging port so I wouldn't rely on it outdoors. The price is right. good for a backup as long as it doesn't get wet.
By far my favorite headlamp. I found the headband a little clunky, so replaced it with some shock cord. Now my headlamp weighs about an ounce and I bring it everywhere with me. :) I've never night hiked with it, but its plenty bright for moving around camp after dark.
Ultralight weight, durable and rechargeable.
While not having a million modes and options or blinding lumens like many heavier and more expensive headlamps, this unit does provide the basics, gives enough light for safe navigation in low-light/no-light conditions and does exactly what I need it to do all while weighing next to nothing. It has, therefore, become my absolute go-to light for hiking/camping. The ability to recharge it in the field with my solar charger is a big plus since I don't have to carry extra batteries.
This is definitely one of my favorite Massdrop gets.
