I have to say I'm a bit disappointed at this headlamp. For the price paid, I would not have expected it to have anything but a clean and clear lens. Mine came slightly scuffed. The hinge is also a lot looser than I imagined and moves quite easily with a little shake. Finally, the dial adjustment for the light output as well as the size adjuster is stiff and does not rotate smoothly. The only redeeming quality is that the strap is decent.
I purchased the rechargeable option and was expecting the battery to be integrated into the light. It is instead a separate pack that you must remove in order to charge. I would save the extra money and buy rechargeable AAA's instead had I known beforehand.
