I have an O2 and a CMOY. I feel that the CMOY is great for my IEMs but the sound distorts on some higher impedence Headphones. The O2 so far handles all heaphones I have thrown at it. How does this compare to the CMOY? Is it better on battery power. I need something portable. Or can anyone suggest a portable solution that's as good as the 02?

marlons1The uDAC 3 does not run on batteries. it is powered by the USB connection. It worl grreat with my PC and although someone else stated it worked with smartphone I hasn't for me.
This is not as powerful as the O2 but I'm not sure how it compares with the CMOY. It does a pretty good job with most headphones I have, but not really powerful enough for my planars, as would be expected.

RoyalPotatoNot what I would recommended for the HD600/650 or any full-size headphonethat isn't very low impedance or easy to driver. I'd mostly stick to IEMs or using the pre outs worth powered monitors/speakers.
