I can verify @mthayr 's weight measurement. My medium size also weighs 40 grams. That is a very large difference between claimed and actual weight, especially considering claimed weight is based on a large size. 12 grams is 12 grams, especially in the UL hiking community.

So I have a question for @UGQPaul. Why is my hat so heavy? Ok, ok, I jest (somewhat) - but I am curious why my size medium (23") down skully (Orange and Green FWIW) weighs in at 40g (1.4oz) vs. the ~28g listed in the drop. In fact the UGQ website says: "Average Weight for Large 28g" so that's a 1/3rd LESS weight for a size LARGER hat. What gives?

Are there any contracts with your vendors in regards to fulfillment dates or is it all just OK because they are giving a discount? I don't think we need to get as many updates as we do after the drop ends because shouldn't the vendor simply be held accountable for promised shipped by date?

TimmertonI disagree. I WANT updates. I want to get a good estimate when an item will arrive. Its nice to know that someone is taking charge and being proactive. Some vendors need to be pushed to get the product out, leaving customers in the dark. I think its important that companies KNOW they owe their livelyhood to the people that actually PAY them and are responsible to them.

Another quick update. We've heard back from the vendor regarding the shipping schedule for the group's order and they've informed us that fulfillment and packaging of the individual orders took slightly longer than originally anticipated. The good news is that preparation of the individual orders is almost complete and everything should be going out by the end of this week. As always, we will make sure to keep you all updated along the way and confirm once all packages have been sent out.
We are still so thankful for your continued patience and you can expect an update from us by the end of the day Pacific Time on 9/8 or earlier if anything comes up.

Back with a brief update. We've made another attempt to reach back out to the vendor and are now just awaiting confirmation that the individual packages have all been shipped out. We will be contacting them again first thing tomorrow morning to retrieve the latest shipping status of the group's packages and will update you all as soon as we know that everything was sent out as expected.

Another quick update. We've reached back out to the vendor for an update on the group's order and they've let us know that production is still ongoing and they expect to have everything finished up in time to ship packages out inline with the date in the drop description page. As before, we will continually monitor this situation and let the group know as soon as all individual packages are sent out.
We are thankful for your continued patience and you can expect an update from us by the end of the day Pacific Time on 8/31 or earlier if anything comes up.

We've continued to be in contact with the vendor and they've informed us that they are still working to gather and package the individual orders for shipment directly to each of you. We will continue to check in with them throughout the fulfillment process and update the group again as soon as everything has been sent out!

It's a go! The order for the UGQ Down Skully was placed just after the drop came to an end. Now our vendor will be working hard to prepare it for shipment to each of you.
As soon as we receive word from the vendor about the shipping schedule, we will update you all with that information.
