Been looking for a light weight day backpacking. Came across this on my email. Would this pack be good for a 1-3 day trip? Does anyone know if you can attach a tent to it underneath or would I have to buy additional straps?
BigDRD4BigDRD - Yeah it's super versatile and good for a 1-7 day trip. Really popular among thru-hikers because you can carry a large volume of food and other gear.
Its voluminous main compartment should be able to hold your tent or tarp. You can put poles in the side pockets (which are large) or you could use the roll top closure strap to secure things. The stretchy shock cord or mesh outer compartment can hold a lot of stuff.
Be aware: The suggested weight limit is ~35 lbs. I don't push mine over 30.
Do you know what your base weight is? Try for 15 or less if you want to use this pack for backpacking.
