mikegartmanFocus on your big 3 and work on having multi-use items :) I went from ~30 lb baseweight to ~14 over this past year. Happy to share any advice or a gear list

ScrappyMalloyI'm always interested in someone else his gear. Do you have a gear list somewhere? And do you go tarp or tent camping ?

TomDeVis_comI hiked the jmt with a sil nylon tarp made for about 70 dollars and a couple hours of constructing it weighed only ten ounces and set up with trekking poles check out quest outfitters or rip stop by the roll for materials and tyvek makes awesome ground sheets for only a couple bucks.

WoodsmanWoodsman - That sounds awesome. Homemade gear is great for some people. Especially those who are handy and have the time (and experience) :)
Tom - I need to get my list online, but here's my big 3:
ULA Catalyst
ZPacks Triplex (I share it w/ my gf)
Wester Mountaineering Terralite (I'm a big dude)
