After ten short hikes the belt fastner refuses to stay fastened. How can I get a new one?
I generally like the product but find the buckle system less than. Would like to see a different system for fastening on this pack.

I have Been actively looking for the perfect Fly fishing day pack for more than 20 years .. and got almost 30 backpacks on my collection .. some are really good, but, making it short, this pack is simply perfect !.... I wist I had come across this one 20 years ago ... this advice would save me thousands of dollars .. now I want it on a 300 gram weight .. and pole laces on the front . By the way I do live in Patagonia, and I do more than 60 days fishing every year .. I would try to post a photo tomorrow showing why it´s perfect .. and love it so much...

Not a fan. The 15 seems smaller than any 15L I've used. The only plus is the zipper.

I use this bag daily for work and outings, fits enough for my needs. The front elastic pocket is very convenient for just dumping things when I am too lazy to open the bag, or for stuff that requires quick access.

Just took this 25 liter on a 3 day trip in the smokies. 14 lbs totally packed with water. Worked well. Don’t plan to pack it much over 15 lbs.

I have the 25L, and generally use it for run and bike commuting, skiing, and less frequently, back/fast packing. As other people have noted, it's not the lightest pack for its capacity, but the price is good and I find it carries well. I'm quite tall and thin (6'4", 170lbs), and I got the larger size, which I kind of regret. I have to cinch it down all the way when I'm not wearing bulky layers, and still have plenty of room over ski gear. I think I'd have gotten a better fit with the smaller size, so if you're in doubt, I'd recommend you size down.
For running to and from work, I find I can easily fit a full change of clothes, lunch, computer, and any other things I might need during the day, and the pack carries surprisingly well, even when loaded down. Minimal bounce, and a solid feel. I did add a little elastic to the bottom sternum strap so it can flex with my breathing a little, and that was very helpful. I leave the back panel in, but mostly to protect the computer from sweat. I keep my coffee thermos, water bottle, wallet, and keys in the front pockets, and the extra weight up front helps balance out the gear in the back.
For skiing, I put my water bladder in the laptop pocket, fill the rest with lunch, beers, extra clothes, whatever. It stays right on my shoulders, and I feel more balanced than with a typical backpack that rides a little lower. Balance is always helped by heavier things in the front pockets, so coffee thermos, my next beer (high gravity so it doesn't freeze too quickly), and snacks in the front.
Surprisingly, I find this pack has the most limitations for fastpacking, but perhaps some of that comes down to my other gear choices. I took it out recently for an overnight trip, with a pack weight of about 12 pounds, including food and water. (I know, 12 pounds is way too heavy for fastpacking, can you tell my wife that I NEED a dyneema tarp?) The pack carried well, but my shoulders started getting tired after about 15 miles. I'm curious to try it with a lighter load-out, it seems like this pack might be perfect for sub-10 pounds. Anything more than that, and I'd prefer the hipbelt and suspension of my Osprey 55L pack.
