I have this vest! What an insane price! You must be mindful of your measurements. I started with a Medium, I am 6', have 42 inch chest and weight around 200lbs depending on the season and it was way to big, the bottle placement was weird due to the size of my chest and back. I returned and got the small, perfect fit. It does come with bottles, but I prefer the tall skinny Salomon 18oz bottles, which sit on my chest better. I have only used the soft bottles on runs, sometimes adding a 3rd in the rear and that is good enough for 20+ mile runs. I have used a 70oz camelbak bladder in the rear for mountain biking and it works well. Although, keeping the bladder attached to top loop is quite flimsy, so not sure how this will do in the long run.
Sizing at bottom ribs (Unisex): SM: 24 - 38 in. / 61 - 97 cm MD: 31 - 42 in. / 79 - 107 cm LG: 36 - 50 in. / 91 - 127 cm Measure wearing the clothes you intend to wear Unisex Sizing - Please confirm your bottom ribs measurement before ordering

StrugglaThere is a fair bit of overlap in the sizes. I'd be on the upper end of a medium and the lower end of a large. Would you recopmmend going down to the upper limit of the medium?

djprDepends, if you plan on wearing layers most of the time, or prefer to wear it over your layers do the large. Otherwise size down. I usually use a base layer, but I then layer over top of the vest for rain or cold. I prefer the fit more snug.

StrugglaI generate a lot of heat when I move so it'd only be over a base layer. Thanks for the in put

StrugglaI have a question if you don't mind since you have the vest...when your run with it does the sweat from your back get into the back pouch or is it protected (waterproof)? I currently use a Nathan Zelos to bring my stuff home when I run back from work and need a replacement and was wondering if this one could do. Looking for some waterproofing from both the outside and the inside.

cheesemacflyPick up one of those ultralight drysacks. Not only will it keep your stuff dry and clean, it will also pack really small because you let all the air out before rolling the closure.
