Sennheiser PC37X randomly goes bad after disconnecting the cable ?
Greetings, Yesterday I was using my headset like normal with my macbook, just listening to music and on a call with people like usual, and the headset was perfectly fine. The stock wire that came with the headset is extremely long and yesterday it annoyed me very much that it kept getting tangled with itself, so I decided to see if the cable is replaceable. I pulled out the cable from the headset and saw the adapter, and looked online for a replacement. Upon plugging it back in, the audio sounded extremely muffled and washed out. Im not sure what I did wrong to make it mess up like that as I've always taken good care of it, ive had it for about 2 years and its always just been chilling on my desk, but anywho I thought the cable just went bad and ordered a replacement. The replacement came, and the issue is still persistant, so I am not sure what the issue is I've tried multiple different headsets and the issue is not with the port, and I also tried it with my windows laptop and...

This drop is happening tomorrow. Some quick notes to be aware of before you join this drop:
1. For this drop, do not go through Massdrop support or Ultimate Ears customer service, both will re-direct you to me. Send all of your questions/inquiries/concerns to Daniel.Liu@massdrop.com.
2. We've found the shipping process to be incredibly time intensive at our HQ in San Francisco, so we're going to leave it to the experts for this drop - the final orders will be shipped from our warehouse in New Jersey.
In the interest of fairness, there are ZERO exceptions to this rule. This means if you're on the West Coast, there will be a few days extra delay to receiving your UERM. If there are any complaints after the process beings, I will kindly point you to this post.
3. Updates in this drop will be few and far between. We will only be posting large group updates in two situations: When impressions have shipped to UE, and when bulk orders are going out. You can email me for individual questions on your drop.
4. If you have any shipping deadlines or special requests, email me while the drop is ongoing and I'll see if the timeframe is doable. If you do it after the drop ends, we'll do everything we can but moving mountains sometimes just isn't possible.
5. Once you join the drop (and if you're sure nothing will come up that would cause you to have to back out), feel free to immediately shoot an email my way with pictures of your impressions/let me know you have impressions on file with UE. This will put you at the top of the list.
