Hello, I just joined, primarily for the audiophile products. Looking at purchasing the NHT C3 speakers for our new living room. Space is about 15 feet wide by 33 long and they will fire long ways. Space is just for general listening, music room with all equipment is downstairs, so hoping they will fill it with sound nicely. Cheers.

1. The sound of these is a pure reference sound (obvious but worth re-iterating). They are not warm or bright, they are perfectly neutral. So if you like warmth or bass or sparkly treble these are not for you.
2. The intended end user of this product is a performing artist or sound technician. Enthusiast will still enjoy them but know that these are not designed with enthusiasts in mind.
3. When you go to get your Impressions follow the UE impression guide precisely. This will save you from having to get them impressions twice and ensure the best fit possible. You dont want fit problems. http://pro.ultimateears.com/media/misc/audiologist-instructions.pdf
4. If the audiologist you're using is an expert in earing aids and not making CIEM impressions I would go somewhere else or review the instructions with them very carefully.
That being said, they are an incredible product. I have been using them almost daily for months now. They (like most CIEM) can a bit finicky with certain amps so do some research to make sure you are pairing these appropriately. I pair mine with a "fiio e18k" portable DAC/AMP and am very happy with that combo.
