※Tip: These IEMs sound better when it fits right. The most disturbing factor that prevents perfect fit is the hard, uncomfortable earguide in the cables.
You could buy another custom cable or just simply remove the earguide and buy a heat-shrinking tube to hide the remains of the earguide.
1. With a fingernail clipper, cut and remove the outside part of the earguide.
2. There is a metal ring that clips the metal earguide. There is a small gap if you look carefully. Widen the gap and remove it.
(3. You can place a more comfortable earguide instead.)
4. The upper part of the earguide cannot be removed cleanly, so hide it with the shrinking tube.
Sn0wF14k3Yes I own a pair of 900s.. When fit is correct using the comply tips provided by ue.. The sound is amazing.. I manage to convince my sister to get one after letting her audit my pair ..
TommyChingYeah, it's probably one of the best IEMs you can get under 200 bucks. I bought it when it came out and used it for a quite a long time and there were none that were comfortable for both to wear(after I bought a custom cable) and to hear like it.
TommyChingThe only thing i went against it was the durability. Piano Black skin started to wear off quickly so i peeled it off and added manicure to the chrome surface.
Sn0wF14k3My existing one the piano black pain peeling too.. I am using custom cables too.. My cable is silver alloy and the sound is actually much brighter than the default cable.. There are more details too..
