Never used the 9 pocket, but the 12 pocket has been my high end binder for a couple years now. The exterior and zipper still look and operate perfectly. The pages inside aren't so durable; they scuff and crease like most binder pages. They're starting to get a bit ratty looking, but they still work fine. I recommend this product for anyone looking to keep their favorite cards safe and displayable.
