QuadtoddThank you for the follow up. It looks like there are higher than desirable odds of not receiving the product, but Massdrop refunds if you dont receive it. So you can't lose your money right?

VreousRight, just your time, and add in a level of frustration.
Say, like no updates on shipping info ever or any progress in 2 weeks on finding the order, after the date it was supposed to arrive. Filed a disputed charge 5 weeks after the credit card charge and Pay Pal, for some strange reason, locked down my account. Because I didn't receive my order? The crossbow came a few days later with still no tracking info and was found to be crudely built, so reversal of the dispute took a week for the CC, but PayPal is still dragging their feet, 2 weeks after. And I can't return the crossbow and get a replacement or money back until the dispute is fully closed. Sounds like fun?
