I coincidentally purchased one of these from Unicomp last week, and have been typing on it for a few days— here's my 2¢... The keycaps and key switches are far and away the best feature of these keybords—totally satisfying and addictive to type on, in a way that no other modern keyboard replicates. And the Unicomp customer service is as good as it gets. But the case build and quality control are fairly poor. Just as many reviewers have said prior, the case squeaks when you touch it and there's blemishes galore. I really wish Unicomp would offer an upgraded model with a thicker case with more screws and a beefier metal backplate. Just those changes would make the Unicomp glorious--like the Model Ms of the 80s.
