The gaps around the keys look huge compared to the original M. Also, are the cap covers interchangeable with the original ones?

ToastyOhsThat might be because they are using the original tooling and dies from the 1980s. They were worn out decades ago. My new Unicomp keyboards look like my old Model Ms except with no sharp edges and mushy lines.
