Cut the Dischord

Everyone wants a different part of the range heightened, from the vocal fanatics calling for mids to the bassheads living the low life and loving it. Instead of arguing over which end needs more adjustment, Unique Melody resolved the issue by adding dedicated drivers to every part of the range, putting a total of ten drivers per ear in the Unique Melody Mentor Universal IEM.

Drivers, Are You Ready?

We know that driver figure probably caught your eye and you won’t be able to focus on anything else until it’s explained, so let’s dive straight in. To make sure every last speck of range is surrounded, four armature drivers cover the low end, two cover the mids, two split time between the mids and highs, and two are dedicated to the highs. This arrangement results in enhanced and sparkly highs, a well balanced and powerful midrange, and a fast and fully developed low end.

The result of years of tinkering, the Unique Melody Mentor IEM sounds great out of the box, but it is also highly receptive to EQ tuning if you want to alter the approach. To complete the package, the acrylic housing features metallic canals and ends in a thick, woven cable, guaranteeing that nothing comes in the way of you and that purple dragon known as perfect sound.
