If anyone is on the fence about getting one (or more!) of Kelvin's Urban Survival Gear TiScribe pens, I can't recommend them enough! I have two of his Kickstarter/v1.0 pens. They're beautiful, and they feel great in the hand. Not to mention, he's a great guy to deal with. Do yourself a favor- follow his YouTube channel, and get yourself at least one of his pens before this Massdrop ends! His videos are fun to watch because he's always so upbeat, and it's cool to get an inside look at production. I'm about to order one of his revised (v1.5 - the ones offered here) pens, and I suggest that anyone considering, do the same!

UrbanSurvivalGearProof is in the... Pens! Sorry, I couldn't resist it. Seriously, though, keep up the great work! I'm looking forward to seeing what's next from Urban Survival Gear.

theretroshaveThe patina on those is awesome. It's really interesting to see how one has turned a more pinkish (maybe just the way the light is hitting it?) I'm super excited to get mine. Can't wait! It's def going to be added to my edc.
Out of curiosity, what is the difference between the version 1.0 versus the 1.5?

VerwilderdSure, differences are stronger threads, lighter, better fit and finish, and the converter is held securely by the pen body.

UrbanSurvivalGearI was just about to share the improvements as I had learned of them in your YouTube videos, but I'm glad you beat me to it- better to get it from the source.

VerwilderdThe patina on my pens has barely begun. The shorter pen pretty much lives clipped to the inside edge of my pocket for EDC, but the full-length pen, which I plan to use with the fountain nib tip is living in its tube inside of my work bag. The pen is pink in the previous picture because, so far, I can't seem to keep my hands off of it, so it's not really gaining the deep patina yet, though I'm getting a little better at not pulling it just out to stare at it every time the urge strikes. I think that the fact that I dropped the pen onto a tile floor has forced me to control my urge. Here's another shot of just my EDC. The side that faces out from my leg when I clip it onto the pocket stays a little more polished/pink, but here's the backside, and a shot of the tiny dent that is keeping my urge in check. I hope everyone enjoys their pens as much as I'm enjoying mine. Thanks, again, Kelvin!
