Glad to see KBP products on Massdrop. Cherry switches are not my favorites, but I am really enjoying my KBP V60 Matias keyboards. I have both the Matias Click and Matias Quiet versions. They each provide superb tactile feedback, and if I need silent typing, the Matias Quiet is even quieter than my HHKB Pro 2 Type-S. All of the V60s can be completely remapped in software (such as Karabiner for the Mac) without having any dead keys; this feature alone makes the V60 more attractive to me than the Poker II.

HypersphereI'm curious why you don't like Cherry switches. I ordered the Matias Quiet V60 earlier from Massdrop, and am just looking for more justification I got the right board (over a cherry mx board) :P

HypersphereAny recommendations for key remapping software for Windows? I've been using AutoHotkey but didn't know if anyone could recommend a simpler option (maybe with a GUI).

Kaze71I think you made the right choice! I have that particular Matias board and I'm quite happy with it (minus the abs keycaps).
The Matias switches are much more tactile than Cherry switches, and have the tactile "bump" near the top of the switch. The feel is quite different, and I do generally prefer the feel of these switches over any Cherry switch.

Kaze71For me, the force-displacement curves of Cherry mx switches are not favorable. I prefer the operating characteristics of IBM capacitive buckling spring (Model F), Topre, and Matias switches.

Loonybin0Although I have Windows and Linux computers, my primary computer is a Mac Pro. I share all three computers using a combination of software (Synergy) and hardware (Iogear) KM switches. Therefore, the only remapping software I need is Karabiner for the Mac.
