Hi, everybody! Quick note about the purpose of this knife since it seems some of you have some questions about it.
In a nutshell, we wanted to produce a fully functioning folding knife with a decent sized blade for only an ounce. Ultralight products are our specialty. A lot of backpackers and EDC-ers don't need a heavy duty knife for most of the tasks they encounter, yet would prefer a larger size blade to a smaller one. Most knives, in order to reduce its weight, simply shrink the size of the knife and blade. Ours has a 2 1/4" blade (5 1/2" overall), is easy to sharpen, easy to maintain (no worry of rust or corrosion), disappears in your pocket or pack, and the titanium we use is similar in hardness to typical axes and hatchets. While not suitable for bushcrafting, this blade can handle most things you need it to do. Great backup knife, too.
So for those who want to carry less and have good function in a knife, this is the knife for them.

ecolemanThere isn't a clip, but there is a lanyard hole on the butt of the handle for use with lanyard, key ring, or small carabiner.

iwendtIt's technically an alpha beta alloy that is only available to us from Japan. It's not common which is why were one of the first, if not the first, to use it as a blade material. Every other titanium knife we've seen uses common Grade 5 titanium (which is not a great knife material alone) with carbide on the edge for strength and hardness.

VargoOutdoorsGrade 5 is an alpha beta alloy as well. I'm curious as to which exact alloy it is you are using because I have yet to see one that runs as high as 50 Rockwell C. Even Beta C, which is arguably one of the hardest Titanium alloys, only runs up to about 46 once properly heat-treated.
