Just some feedback on the BOT 700 I purchased in the first drop: screwing the lid on requires an significant amount of concentration and effort. The lid has to be perfectly level, the threads have to be aligned perfectly, and you have to apply just the right amount of downward pressure in order to screw the lid on correctly. Screwing the lid on (or off) is noisy as well, a bit like fingernails on a chalkboard; it's a rough fit. I'm planning to use it on a trip this weekend, I want to like it and am hoping these annoyances will get better with use.

More observations: spent some time tonight screwing the lid on and off after doing that a few times you could see residue/dust at the bottom of the pot which I blew out. Next a leak test. Hand tightened it just to the point where it was watertight, now the lid is sealed tight. Tried the credit card pressure release method, did not work. My 16 year old and I together tried to unscrew the lid, with me holding the pot while he unscrewed, did not work either. Will try the credit card method again then call it a night.
