Not quite sure of the benefits of this BOT. It's lighter than a nalgene sure, but it's an average cooking pot that lacks handles, billy hooks, and requires a lifter to use safely...

TeliosTo each their own.
The SS BOT is perfect for my uses of it. I don't want handles and hate billy hooks. Pot grippers hold the BOT securely allowing me to move, adjust and pour it safely and easily. Just as good at boiling as most cook pots, which are bulky while the BOT is sleek and nests like a dream. Have spent several weekends with the BOT as my only cookware and love it.
Love that I can nest a BOT over a Nalgene and forget about it. Have been on some long hot hikes this summer where I was overjoyed to be able to carry two extra quarts of water because I took my BOTs off the Nalgenes and used them as water bottles. I would have been dangerously dehydrated without the BOTs because it was a long way to the next water.
