I picked up one of these on the last drop and absolutely love it! The silicone funnel is a real plus, it makes swigging a pleasure with its soft contour, and I can borrow it to fill other flasks, as well. The shape, weight, strength and durability all make this part of my EDC now, tucked into a vest, for a nip after work. It is big enough at 8 oz to share with mates, but thin and light enough to carry in a jacket or vest pocket unobtrusively. I usually keep it filled with an artisanal mezcal for sipping pleasure. And of course, Ti imparts no taste and does not corrode. Compared to the SS Sneerwell 6 oz flask, which is a thing of beauty (the Noble Liberty model... strike a blow), this one is lighter, bigger, and more practical, while still looking elegantly functional with its contours and immaculate soft matte finish. The Sneerwell holds less, has no funnel, and does not stand upright, so I keep it filled with bourbon and tucked into my leather bag instead of carrying it.

KermudjinThanks for your review. do you think it would be okay for wine? Granted, the smell is arguably one of the most important parts of enjoying a nice glass, which this will prevent. but still.

LefibonacciNot for wine because it only holds 8 Oz (250ml). What you want is something that holds 750ml, the standard wine bottle. My favorite for that is the High Camp Firelight flask. Two stainless tumblers attached magnetically to a SS double walled flask. https://brobible.com/gear/article/firelight-flask-with-tumblers/ This will keep a white chilled for a day excursion or an overnight, or a red wine for a bit longer in a safe and stable container. Or whatever your libations may be. It has two SS cups magnetically held on either end, so it is much better for swirling and savoring the grape with a partner. It would be a great choice for massdrop to offer.

KermudjinThat is a nice looking, large, and practical option but SS will (from my understanding) w/out doubt have adverse affects on a wine. So, I'm leaning toward this titanium Vargo because supposedly titanium will not change the taste of your drink of choice. 8 Oz is not bad for me personally, as an individual. Considering the healthy maximum amount for a male to drink of wine in an evening is 10 Oz; and this would be to keep in my pocket when I'm out-&-about. If the Hight Camp Firelight Flask were titanium, I probably would buy them both the Firelight and the Vargo 😜

KermudjinCheck out the "GSI Boulder Flas," pretty interesting option, 'specially for a wine drinker. EDIT: I mislead. I thought it was glass, but it's not. It's "copolyester resin?" Sure thing.

LefibonacciAs nearly all wines today are fermented and aged in stainless steel for much or all of their time at the winery, I seriously doubt a ss flask will do them any harm for a few hours or a couple of days of an excursion. And the current politically correct pronouncements from the CDC about what are the “safe” or “healthy” levels of alcohol consumption have plenty of science that contradicts the epidemiological studies used to make those pronouncements. They are driven by the puritanical streak in American society that gave us prohibition a century ago and the “the War on Drug(user)s” today that is killing hundreds of thousands by driving them to the black markets to get their fix. In fact, the only truly “safe” level of ethanol consumption is zero if you believe the extrapolations of those correlational statistical studies. (“Trust me. I’m a Doctor AND a Scientist.”) The latest science is always the bestest and truest until it isn’t. Life is short. Take a chance they are wrong. It’s like the old saying, “Running doesn’t make you live longer. It only makes it seem like longer. “ Strike a blow for Liberty! Carry the biggest bottle of Devil Juice you can into a National Park today!

KermudjinI mean, it sounds like we are on the same page. If I'm going to carry the devils juice (and the devils lettuce, for that matter,) I want it to be the best quality juice that I can manage. I can say from first hand experience that the instance the acidic nature of wine touches SS, the flavor is altered. Maybe it is a mental thing, not sure. I'm not mad and those who disagree. I jus know how it works with me. Either way, you seem like an interesting person to grab any drink with sometime, for that matter. P.S. Joined the drop, last minute. Time to find out how titanium works for me (:
