I've always bury coffee ground wherever I camp. coffee cause pollution? I would say coffee filter would be the problem. I am not making enough money to go environmental friendly, that's the job for rich and powerful.

erichung1218It's not pollution, but the detriment to the ecosystem you're burying it in - it's still considered a food item and attracts wildlife.

erichung1218Yes, the LNT crew is probably planning a protest outside your house right now. Coffee grounds packed out? I'd rather fertilize a shrub or tree with it. OR, burn it. Wonderful smell, and the resulting byproduct will be no different than burned wood. Heck, after burnt, Starbucks may pay you to bring the spent coffee for use in one of their drinks!

J64372Depends if it disturbs the ecology and biodiversity in a negative way for the area in question.
