derek_dickersonWhat version of OS X are you running? On mine with 10.9 and 10.10, it doesn't do anything. I find it interesting that it does anything at all with yours.

derek_dickersonI'm actively investigating a way to get these to work on OSX, but I currently don't have a solution. I did announce it and post it in the discussion that these were incompatible at the time, but if you'd like to return it please just contact support@massdrop.com.

derek_dickersonI'm impressed it does anything at all. Mine just sits like a brick.
EDIT: I take that back, the one that was delivered to me today does what yours does. However, the one that I was lent awhile back doesn't do anything when plugged into the Mac(s). However, they both work identically on Windows, Wonder what the difference is.

collinmelAny solution that is found will go up on the product listing when we re-launch this drop. My progress isn't going as fast as I'd like, so I'm really hoping your's comes through!

SiklrThe supply of MX Blues is unreliable right now, and they didn't feel comfortable offering it as an option. If you are very much in love with clicky switches, there are MX Greens that are quite loud and boisterous.

AndrewLekashmanOh man what a pleasant surprise! Are all the key caps standard size?

NerdyRickSo, it is a standard Tenkeyless layout yes, but the caps are a hair shorter than OEM profile, and a bit larger than Cherry Profile, since Varmilo has their own molds for keycaps.
You can definitely put your own caps on these, or take these caps off and put them on any keyboard you please.

AndrewLekashmanIf the description of the key types is correct, these Greys are not loud. MX Click Grey is a different type of key and also has an actuation of 105cN. Doubt anyone would want to use that for an extended period of time.

Berzerker7I made a keyboard for Hassan (he ships all the stuff on Massdrop) with 150g springs so that he can beast his hands a bit. There are people in the world that like the crazy actuation forces!

AndrewLekashmanAndrew - have you considered sending a VA87M out to the Noppoo OS X driver dev (https://github.com/thefloweringash)? Perhaps he'd be willing to add Mac support if he could test w hardware directly.
It looks like I'll be able to get it working using an Arduino Yun, but I imagine that won't really be a viable option for most folks.
