I am about to get the Magicforce 68. Is this board really worth the 100$ price difference? What extra features? Just allu case? Any custom programming? What makes this board more expensive? Purely brand? This will be my first mech board but idk. Any opinions are welcome.

Ghen90cannot compare the quality with magicforce and its a good price , cannot have dark switches (I'm half blind anyway :) ) and only cherry black for me and none here

GandalftwAre you saying the varmilo board is good quality for its price? Are you saying magicforce is bad quality? I am not 100% sure what you mean about cannot have dark switches. Both boards are back lit. Does magiforce not come in black cherry? Im getting cherry blues. Sorry your reply was kinda confusing.
The Varmilo is 100$ more for essentially just an aluminium case?

Ghen90The magicforce with gateron will cost around 80-90$ with cheap keycaps and the ugly legends , aluminum case alone cost 120$ and the varmilo keycaps are nice and good quality around 30-40$ so the price here is good. I like the dark keycaps but since I don't see so good I prefer light keycaps, and this drop doesn't have a cherry black which are my preference switch I will wait for the next drop . I have the fc660m and yes the build quality is much better than magicforce

GandalftwI am getting Magiforce68 with cherry mx blues 69.99 on Amazon. Also was going to get those massdrop double shot PBT caps for 30. Didnt know if I really felt allum case was worth it. Thanks for feedback btw. I wonder if I would like the gateron blues vs cherry blues.
