Hi, my shift + esc seems to write ` instead of the curly character, is there any way to program the keys

xxvii27A few people (myself included) have reported this issue, which seems to be a problem on the latest batch of boards possibly. No matter what key combination you press (shift+esc or fn+esc), and no matter what fn row you're using, it seems to only ever type a (`) instead of a (~). I found a workaround that seems to have corrected the issue permanently for me however. Through some digging I found a keyboard customizer program called Karabiner (https://pqrs.org/osx/karabiner/). Simply running Karabiner was enough to fix the issue; I didn't actually change any settings within Karabiner or remap any keys. There's an option to save your new keyboard settings to your system preferences. Once I did that, I was able to turn off Karabiner, and all the settings persisted. I can now type tildes (~) without any issues. This solution is specific to Macs it should be noted. I have no idea if there's a similar workaround for PC. Hope this helps.

snotrockitOn my VA68Mg I have to use fn + shift + esc to type ~, as just fn + esc generates ` as stated before.

LevelSteamYeah for some reason, fn+shift+esc doesn't work on some boards out of the box (like mine). Multiple people have had the same issue on this last batch of Varmilo boards. Doesn't seem to matter if you do fn+shift+esc or fn+esc, and doesn't matter which row you have activated, it always results in a (`). The above workaround was the only thing that permanently reset the keys to the correct values. Again, this could just be a mac related issue - not sure how it's affecting PC users (if at all).

snotrockitI understand. I dug further down in these comments and saw the same thing. It looks like a batch of these boards all had that problem. I got mine a couple months ago from a group buy over on zfrontier though so it looks like maybe they fixed it. Have you tried hitting up Varmilo's rep Cynthia over on reddit or contacting them directly for a fix?

LevelSteamHaven't contacted them directly but Massdrop has been helpful in issuing refunds. Thanks for the tip though, I'll definitely let them know.
