I dug through the earlier messages but can't seem to find any info on whether this keyboard will work natively with a mac, without having to resort to using karabiner. I will be using it mostly on my PC, but I plan on taking it to work with me where I mostly use a mac.
For the price - do you think its a better deal to get the FC600C or nab this board with gateron browns? I've used clears but definitely thought they were too heavy for my daily driver.

ordinaireDo you mean the FC660C? That model has topre switches. Now, the FC660M has cherry switches. The layout isn't quite the same, it only has ins and del keys, while this one also includes pgup and pgdown keys. Also, you should consider if you want the backlighting and the aluminum case. Massdrop just had a drop for an aluminum case for the FC660M, but that adds quite a bit more to the cost making it much more expensive than this keyboard.

ordinaireAlso, yes this keyboard works with mac just fine - you will need to rebind the windows and alt keys in the OS for proper placement of option and command.

IredeusBeing standard-layout, the VA68M will also let you easily change the keycaps while you will be pretty much stuck with the stock (albeit good) Topre-stem caps of the FC660C. IMO, you can't go wrong with the latter, but this might be something else to consider.
