I have just gotten my keyboard and trying to run it on Linux (Ubuntu 14.04) and OS X but I cannot see the orange backlighting! How do I turn it on? When I reboot Linux I get a very brief orange flash so it is there, but after that it stays off. Any hints? The Caps and Scroll Lock LEDs also do not work.

thomas.brownethomas, I also use Linux (Gentoo though). I hit Fn+up arrow to cycle through the brightness levels, or hit Fn+right arrow to pulsate or "breathe". Hope that helps!!!
Also, make sure you are running on USB 2.0+, and not USB 1.1. This board seems to want the power to run all the pretty things. Caps key should come on, but verify that it's not working by typing in a document after pressing it. It might be a burnt LED, who knows. As far as the scroll lock lighting up, mine doesn't even do that. It hasn't lit under any of my older keyboards either. I don't know why... Maybe because the GUI doesn't need it, and the terminal uses the Pause/Break key instead? I don't know.....

nicodariousGot it buddy... working perfectly now! Thanks. Caps/Scroll still don't work but I don't really care about that. Got my orange pulsating glow! Fabulistic. Love this thing.
