Okay, so I just received my VA87MR. It's my first varmilo with the cherry blue mx, not gateron blues. And the feel is very odd. It's almost a mushy tactile rather than a clicky tactile. Am I missing something? There wasn't any o-rings to dampen the press. I have a CM stealth keyboard with cherry blues, and I was going for that tactile and audible "click." This varmilo with the same blues is mushy as hell. Is anyone having similar issues?

davidlyI just received mine (Cherry MX Brown ), and the tactile feel is slightly softer than my other MX Brown keyboards, but I love it. Its also much quiter than my other mechs. Spacebar (Cherry stab.) feels very crisp, and makes Costar stablizer sounds!

davidlyThat surely sounds odd. Remove a few key caps to confirm that they are Cherry MX Blues?
davidlyThat does sound odd. Please contact support under the transactions tab and they will help sort you out.

AdrienThe switches are indeed the same as the ones in my CM stealth. I've had Gateron blues as well so I know varmilo didn't inadvertently use gateron switches either. I found Gateron blues to feel and sound hollow, whereas the cherry mx blues sound crisp and very clicky.
This VA87MR's cherry blues are just mushy with a very weird threshold at the clicky point. It's bordering the tactile feel of cherry browns (i have them on a different varmilo keyboard) with a slight "crunch" rather than a "click." Gah.

davidlyThat sounds like a switch problem, and not to do with anything else with the keyboard. I'm guessing Varmilo used a bad batch of MX Blues and their quality control missed it.
Definitely contact MassDrop. I've had a good experience with MD replacing a defective product. They might take ~1 month to start arranging a replacement, though, but that's because they have to first get the replacements from the vendor.

AdrienThanks for the suggestion about MD support, Adrien.
Just as a reference for others if they have issues with their cherry blues, here's what I found out after comparing more carefully with another cherry blues keyboard:
1) The "click" isn't quite there, it's a mushy click over a wide threshold 2) It takes a LOT more than 50 g of actuation force that blues requires 3) Most significantly the travel distance is quite short compared to my other cherry blue keyboard (CM stealth) - keycaps i have are all same height, so i don't think that's the issue

My spacebar goes THUNK, and I love it.
