Mechanical Keyboard Sound Isn't That Simple
Figure 1: I couldn't think of a more literal way to represent this article if I tried... Looking back just a few years ago, there’s no doubt that the huge influx of people that joined the hobby at the peak of the COVID pandemic were drawn to keyboards by way of YouTube, TikTok, and other audio-visual content platforms. Even as the output from these content creators has waned in recent months, their collective impact and legacy on the keyboard hobby is rather firmly etched in the history books. As a result of all of their sound tests, build logs, and opinion videos, the message is clear to any new person joining the hobby: mechanical keyboards are all about the sound. Thock this, clack that. Whether it’s keyboards, keycaps, or even singular switches, seemingly everyone new to the hobby meticulously pores over each component of their keyboard not in an attempt to figure out how it will feel in hand, but how it will sound as they’re furiously grinding their way out from...

To amend this communication mishap, we have already put in a new order with Varmilo for additional keycaps. In a separate shipment, those of you effected will be receiving an additional set of front printed light grey keycaps.
Expect an update from us by the end of the day Pacific Time on 7/3 or sooner if something comes up.
Cheers.
EDIT: What is your estimated shipping time to the UK please?
Massdrop is widely known to take much longer than your Amazons or Neweggs at a ten or twenty dollar savings on potentially hard to find items.
What do you mean we 'assumed'?? LOL they picture and the description SAID IT WAS FRONT PRINTED.
Where is the 'assumption' on our end??
If you pay for a horse and I sell you a cow you're supposed to just buy the cow anyways?? how disrespectful is the use of the word 'assumption'
If you want a keyboard now, cancel your order and grab the one on eBay right now because I don't know where else you're gonna get this keyboard.
I specifically bought this board for my travels, as I'm away all summer. Unfortunately it doesn't look like it will arrive before the end of July, which will be too late.
My mistake.. but i feel massdrop needs to step up its communication if it wants to keep new customers.
God, you know what? I really do hope you never come back to Massdrop again. So we can be spared from your incessant whining...
Your cap makes me laugh btw, we didn't need to know that about you.
1) Massdrop says they apologize, end of story, fix their mistake
2) Massdrop instead of apologizing, said, "you guys probably assumed wrong" Where is the 'assumption' from our end, the customers???
That's the whole point, and shipping late is just not fun. What about companies that make up to clients. Massdrop is obviously not trying to keep us happy.
I've also never seen anyone upset over the use of the word "assumption". It was probably an unfortunate choice of words, but hardly a reason to vilify them. Wow. Never come back. Seriously.
But the description is still "Estimated ship date is July 1, 2015."
Not "Guaranteed ship date is July 1, 2015."
It's not going to be "late", they never stated when it would be shipped, and they aren't shipping the wrong item, it's the correct item with an option that is not correct (WHICH THEY FIXED). No one cares that you don't know how to comprehend basic English so stop littering the discussion area.

We ASSUMED it because THEY messed up. He said so right there!!! It looks pretty accurate to me. So STFU.
