How do you do per-key RGB lighting on a Shift V2?
I saw the online configurator that lets you do this on the Shift V1, where it spits out a compiled firmware file to flash. The V2 doesn't seem to have this function in the Windows configurator, though. I can't imagine the answer here is "you're going to have to manually write the hex for every key in QMK, compile it, and flash that".

I guess no choice for customization or choose the cherry mx key options...
Here's the real product page for that VB87M (since only one person is selling the product):
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0104F6702/ref=olp_product_details?ie=UTF8&me=
If you do look for the VB87M elsewhere, your best shot is probably Taobao. For purely selfish reasons, I can't imagine choosing that option over MD. This is not like buying a Samsung SSD. Unless someone like MechanicalKeyboards.com carries it, a product like this isn't offered with domestic customer service.
If you go that way, look at reviews of sellers carefully before ordering from Alibaba. Both Taobao and Alibaba have had issues that led to ID theft for certain customers.
One problem with Taobao is that you have to translate the site via Google Translate, Chrome or a similar web translation service. That can be dodgy when specific financial information and addresses are involved.
Google Translate can sometimes miss a lot even with Safe Mode off. You'll have much better luck if you open the link below (a Taobao search for Varmilo) in Chrome and allow the browser to translate:
http://s.taobao.com/search?q=varmilo&commend=all&ssid=s5-e&search_type=mall&sourceId=tb.index&spm=a215z.7106357.5803581.d4908513
I'm not sure on how good the relay is from China to the US (I'm from the SEA region), but I never had problems with shipping nor payment. Some of them actually have really nice customer service too, just that their only contact method is through their very own IM program, Ali Wang Wang.
And as for advice on buying, Varholiaglimp pretty much sums it up. Follow the herd and go for the ones with good reviews and you'll be fine.
