Okay, so fn-insert turns ON the power, but how the hell do you turn OFF the pwer ? I let it sit for an entire weekend, and the LEDs just burned brightly for 72+ hrs, and every time I got within range with my iPwn, I lost my on-screen keyboard. Not having an on/off switch on a battery operated device seems pretty retarded to me. :-/

captainPress and hold the insert key until the light turns off (should be around 3 seconds)

captainThanks Choonis! Pressing and holding Insert for a few seconds does indeed SEEM to (sort of) turn off the power... well, it disables all apparent functions. But the LED under Insert NEVER stays off for long, even with the keyboard in "off" mode. This tells me that the keyboard is always burning power, and the irreplaceable rechargeable battery will make this keyboard have a relatively short lifespan. :-/

captainif it is a slow blink that means you need to recharge it. the battery is actually relatively easy to replace but should last a long time. here is the teardown another user posted a while back. http://imgur.com/a/4RuFJ

captainTHANK YOU AntonyFarag for clarifying these mysteries! Indeed, after another ~48hrs on the charger, the Insert light is finally OFF! (Someone needs to add these "insert" key data to the cheatsheet on the main page for this item.)
I'm not sure how the battery is "easily changed", but I do see several tiny Phillips-head screws on the bottom, so I guess it's feasible to get the thing open, find the battery, identify it, order a new one, and solder it back in. Not quite as easy as Filco's option to pop a door by hand, pull out two AAs, insert two new AAs, close door by hand, but I'm now less concerned about this becoming a doorstop after 500 battery charge cycles. ;-)

you should only have needed to charge it for 4 hours. if it is on the charger while powered on it will keep blinking almost indefinitely. but once you remove the plug and power off it will turn off. I usually get about 3-4 weeks on a single charge. also thank you to hoop for posting the English instruction book. if you look down at the 11th or 12th picture that6 i posted in my previous comment you will notice that it is connect via a simple regular 3 pin connector. if you want a replacement battery many of them will come with this connector already you pop out the old one and pop in the new one. adafruit is a great place to find batteries like this also alibaba and ebay. https://i.sli.mg/Q4zEa4.jpg. .
