To those complaining about the price, doesn't tubular knit mean that it's made on a vintage loop wheel machine? That alone drives the price and quality up, I would think.

fink.nottleThat is correct, @fink.nottle Circular knit construction usually means one of two things: sinker wheel (in this case) or loop wheel construction. Although similar in feel of the fabric (hand), their needles and construction process is a little bit different. There are very few loop wheel knitting machines left in the world and they're mostly in Europe and Japan (no surprise here - much like vintage shuttle looms). I think Velva Sheen does one helluva job at offering circular knit construction tees at a fair price -- and even fairer here on our group buy!
