I was skeptical purchasing this - I have a number of saddleback bags and red wing heritage boots and have been fine in the leather care department without another name in the stable. The issue is my office / dress oxblood iron ranger boot had a few deeper scrapes in the toe from my lazy ass likely knocking them against the stone stairs to work. The oxblood color against the high contrast brown scrapes that removed the coloring was a an eye soar to me. And although it likely only bothered me I wanted to fix it. This tinted balm, I used burgundy - kicked ass in just that. It slightly filled in the gouge and blended it super well. I'm super satisfied. The amount you get seems like a small amount but a little goes a long long way. This is not a cleaner or a water proofer- this is a heavy conditioner.
