How do these compare to the Rooth and the EARacers earplugs? I go to a lot of heavy metal concerts and I always try to go close to the stage and I headbang a lot as well.
I still want to be able to enjoy the best possible sound of course but comfort and how well they stay in my ears is what's most important to me.

Although the description lists reductions st various frequencies, how about listing their official NRR please.

FearlessleaderThe NRR is 15. This gives more than most of the concert earplugs on the market.

My sister dates a drummer in three different rock bands, I got her a pair of the eargasms and a pair of the vibes. She prefers the eargasms, but the vibes are easier to get out. I also only paid $18 shipped from amazon prime for the vibes.

Received mine just before Christmas.
I work in a nightclub, with 120dB+ music for 4-5 hours per night, and the hiss I'd get after every shift is mind-numbing, so something had to change.
Tried them out for the first time last night. Certainly better than a regular pair of earbuds, but not quite as well as the description made out. For just listening to the music at a healthier volume, these are definitely good, but if you need to work around said music and be able to communicate easily, you might want to look to others.
Overall, I'd score these a 7/10. But probably because I had my expectations set a little too high. They'll still get used regardless

sinbad269Thanks for your review, I'm in the same boat as you where I expected a little too much, I think.

I have neighbors who are bassholes, and while I do like bass, I don't enjoy hearing the muffled thump of it through my walls.
Would these help to filter out the thump, while allowing me to hear my iPhone alarm in the morning?

JephreI feel like nothing is really going to help you with that considering you're probably feeling the bass more than you're hearing it. Also I would NOT sleep with these in. They are likely to get pushed deeper into your ear and be difficult to remove.

RagsomNo, these are earplugs, not earphones. All they do is dampen sound, so you don't get hearing damage in noisy environments, like a concert, without distorting whatever you're listening to.

veczillaYes they work great for guns. My ears were bleeding for only one hour after going to the range!

veczillaIt depends on where you are shooting and what you are shooting. If you're shooting a 12 gauge, 30-06, 400 winmag, etc at an indoor range (not sure why you'd be shooting big caliber indoors but I'm sure it happens) then you would want something with much higher db reduction than these. Actual full coverage earmuffs with an ANSI S3.19 rating of 30+ dB reduction are what most recommend for shooting.
If you're outdoors with a .22 or sub sonic .308 then you can probably use these since those rounds are a lot more tame.
